For lack of a better term we will classify out team into 3 G’s. It is exciting to see we are all part of an outreach team!
1st G: Go – people who go. Please pray for people who can go with us. The great thing of the DM2 strategy is that the teaching trips are short term. One week of teaching can mean one year’s worth of weekly training for those who attend. Teaching teams of individuals that go are a necessity to our ministry. Pray God would raise up people willing to go and teach.
2nd G: Give – people who give. Our ministry depends on a group of people who are willing to regularly give. Praise God with us we can now do that in Canada. Pray God would raise up givers though since we are at 30% where we should be just to maintian our status as missionaries with GCF Canada. Pray God might raise up people who would be willing to give to this ministry.
3rd G: Guard – people who are guardians. This is the group of people who pray fervently for the ministry. They stand guard. That’s you! You are part of this team and we feel you are so important to the team since unless God opens the doors, grants the funds, gives the strength, wisdom and power, we labour in vain. So guardians in the words of Paul,
“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving; praying at the same time for us as well, that God will open up to us a door for the word, so that we may speak forth the mystery of Christ…”Col 4:2-3
I came across your family in the CMML prayer guide this morning and didn’t remember seeing it last year and so decided to access your website to see more of who you are. Thanks. DC
Thanks for stopping by Dorothy!
